Every mile matters when you’re running for more than just yourself. This year, we’re excited to lace up and participate in the High River Half Marathon on Saturday, September 6th at 9:00AM — not only for the challenge, but also to raise awareness and support for a cause close to our hearts: Foothills Advocacy in Motion (FAIM).

FAIM is a local non-profit organization dedicated to empowering individuals with developmental disabilities. Their programs provide life skills, community involvement, and employment opportunities — helping people live more independently and with dignity. By running in support of FAIM, we’re proud to contribute to their mission and shine a light on the incredible work they do in our community.

The High River Half isn’t just about the distance. It’s about community, connection, and giving back. Every step we take on race day is a reminder of the strength and resilience of those FAIM supports — and of the importance of working together to create an inclusive community where everyone belongs.

You don’t have to run 21K to make an impact. Here are a few ways you can join us in supporting FAIM:

  • Donate directly through the High River Half’s donation platform.

  • Cheer us on at the race and share the message of inclusion.

  • Spread the word by encouraging family and friends to support FAIM.
